The county fair is over, and I've caught up a bit on sleep and work. It was a whirlwind weekend as always, and this year I really spread myself too thinly, and have written down suggestions and reminders for next year. (In other words, "don't do that again!")
K and I came home with a good collection of ribbons from our photography, goats, and crafts, as well as her 4H projects, two of which will be displayed at the Oklahoma State Fair next week. K also brought home a trophy for Reserve Champion Dairy Goat. Along the way we worked at our 4H club's "children's zoo", and I demonstrated the art of making goat milk soap to a small audience. We were also able to visit with some old friends and make some new ones.
