Fruit prospects

Sunday night/Monday morning the temperature went down to 28 degrees here at Oak Hill. I was really fearful that our fruit trees had suffered. The three plum trees and a peach tree had already bloomed. There doesn't seem to be any visible damage to them. The four apple trees bloomed today, so I am now hopeful that they are ok and we will have fruit this summer after all. I hope that the two patches of chickasaw plums sailed through the cold weather too, as well as the wild peach tree that I harvest each year. ~smile~

Till next time...
