Feeding Poultry Update

Hopefully there are fly eggs ready to hatch in the maggot bucket in the chicken coop. Surprisingly, that old ground beef that I baited it with doesn't smell; I expected it to be pretty stinky. I hope it smells enough to attract flies. I now realize why folks who do this have several buckets "cooking" - it takes a few days to produce the food for the birds, so it's good to have one bucket producing maggots, and another getting ready to, and perhaps even a third bucket in the process.
