Friday Follow-Up

This week:

Preserved:
- dehydrated green peppers
- froze meatballs and cooked ground beef

Planned:
- located a grove of persimmon trees. We've never tried anything made with persimmons, but if we don't like them, I'll feed them to the chickens.

Prepped:
- we made a big stock-up grocery trip
- began cleaning and rearranging pantry shelves

Cooked something new:
- Meatball subs

  1. They say they are best after the first harvest! I have read a recipe for persimmon bread and it sound really good. Goats Love persimmons too. Enjoy reading your blog!!
