- rain, rain and more rain
- strength to go through the mourning process
- clouds with silver linings
- salvation through Jesus Christ
I am thankful for all the rain we've had lately, and we've had a lot! After the drought a few years ago, I promised I would never complain about mud again, even when it's all over my white tile floor in the kitchen. I think about grumbling sometimes, but then I remember that horrible year and realize that I can put up with the mud. Life is all about attitude, isn't it?
Here are a few photos from wet and soggy Oak Hill:
After a barren and brown winter, all this lush green growth is almost claustrophobic.
Those are white dogs - really!
It's impossible for them to stay clean after ten consecutive days of rain.
"There are three things that are never satisfied,
four that never say, 'Enough!':
the grave, the barren womb,
land, which is never satisfied with water,
and fire, which never says, 'Enough!'
