Friday Follow-Up

This week's focus was simply to make memories with our granddaughter, but I think that's some of the most important work I can do since she only visits us once a year or so.

She helped with haying by opening and shutting the gate to the hayfield. She helped me doctor the dog's cut leg by handing me items from the first aid box and not freaking out over all the blood. And we blew lots of bubbles, went to the zoo, and had lots of meaningful conversations. :-)

At the zoo

We also picked blackberries, and the first red tomatoes (not grape tomatoes, but "real" ones) from the garden. Our granddaughter doesn't like tomatoes though...
