Friday Follow-Up

This week:

-- Made and canned 9.5 pints of sweet & sour plum sauce. Last month when I made a batch while teaching my daughter how to can, I measured the orange juice, chopped the onion, ginger and green pepper, added the spices, and put it all in a bag in the freezer until I was ready to make this second batch. (I knew I'd never *save* 2 cups of orange juice - it's too yummy.) So, all that was left to do was puree the pineapple and peaches, and add a few more ingredients.

  1. What a great idea to freeze those ingredients! I will try to transfer that tip's skill to some of my own projects! : )
