Some years we have a magic carpet of wildflowers, other years not so many. This year we have received only 50% of our normal rainfall, and I'm sure it's one reason we don't have as many flowers as usual. Still, the regulars are popping up, just not in the usual quantities.
Many of these are tiny little flowers. It's all about slowing down and noticing God's handiwork, isn't it? I'm thankful that in spite of our lack of rain, we still have little jewels in the pasture.
