A friend loved my post on using baling wire, and found a great FREE eBook about wire crafts, titled Wired Up. It gave me a few new directions to explore too.
Someone asked me recently for plans for a milkstand. Hubby built mine several years ago from plans on the internet, but I can no longer find exactly which ones he used. This seems to be the closest to what I have. The deck on mine is a thick sheet of plywood. I've seen several different plans online, but this is sturdy, practical, and easy to build.
I have several posts here on training your goat to the milkstand and more. See the sidebar for "Popular Posts".
I don't have a mineral feeder (broken link removed) but really want one. Currently I use a flat-sided bucket hanging on the wire fence, and add mineral daily. It is, unfortunately, at a height that collects goat berries if the goat is so positioned - not the best option at all. Here are plans for one that sounds pretty easy to make.
