A Slice of My Life

The flag currently hanging on our porch used to hang over the porch of my childhood home.
I brought it home when my brother and I cleaned out and sold the old house.
I appreciate having that connection to my dad when I put out the flag on holidays.
He always stood as the flag passed by at parades, something that isn't done much anymore.

A windy day in a small Oklahoma town.

  1. It's so great that you have a flag with some history behind it and happy memories. It looks wonderful!

  2. Thank you, Tammy. It's a little bedraggled but it's special to me!
