A Slice of My Life

Baldwin Ironweed
There are several Ironweed plants growing on the hillside.
Ironweed can grow up to five feet tall; these are 3-4 feet high.
Butterflies love the flowers.

  2. Such a pretty picture. I grow ironweed too, but it gets pretty crazy here in Florida--10 feet tall. The butterflies really do love it.

I just recently discovered your blog and I wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying it!

  3. Nancy, it's actually kind of nondescript from far away, but the flowers up close are intriguing. Thank you for visiting.

  4. Thank you, Leslie! I'm glad you're enjoying the blog. Ten foot tall ironweed must be quite a sight, I can't even imagine.
