Silver Sunday and Being Thankful

I am thankful to the Lord, my God, for:

- monarch butterflies flitting across the pasture
- fall color on the oaks
- beautiful sunrises, cool mornings
- the first autumn rainstorm
- dinner with my family
Silver Sunday

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him,
so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13 NIV

  1. I just want to thank you for your Sunday posts. I enjoy seeing what touches you and it reminds me that no matter what is going on, there is always something to be thankful for. We've had a pretty rough summer, here, but each week here you are - reminding me to count my blessings, which reminds me who to thank for them. This is me; counting you & your blog, among my many blessings.

  2. 2nd attempt...
I just want to thank you, for your blog in general, but for your Silver Sunday posts, in specific. We've had a petty rough week, here, but I open my inbox, and there you are, listing off some of the wonderful blessings you have to be grateful for - and reminding me to do the same. I also have much to be thankful for, but some weeks...well, you know.

Anyway, this is me, counting you & your uplifting blog among my many blessings, for which I am more grateful than you know. May you be blessed by your works 100 fold!

  3. Carla, thank you so much. I'm glad that the posts encourage you, and I'm so sorry to read that you've had a rough summer. I will be praying that things will turn around. In the meantime, yes, there are so many little things to be thankful for, and sometimes you have to look hard for them, but they are there.

You truly encouraged me this morning and I am thankful for that too!
