-- I enjoyed making (and eating) some old favorites and some new recipes this month for the "month of soups" series. Did you see them all? The Broccoli and Cheddar Soup was definitely hubby's favorite and he is hinting for more. I've added the links to the Soup section of my Recipes page.
-- One bitterly cold and windy evening I called the horses in from the hayfield and fed them. I stood in the relative warmth of the barn while they ate, and when they finished I let them out and walked up the hill to feed the goats. Looking back, I realized I'd forgotten to shut the hayfield gate, and they'd gone right back out. I don't like leaving them out in that back field overnight, so I trudged back downhill in the wind. It took some major coaxing and a lot of time to convince them all to come back to the barn pasture, and I was cold for several hours after I went back inside the house.
-- Are you a no-reply blogger? I get a lot of comments that I'd like to answer personally, but there is no email address attached to them. Evidently, if you've signed up for Google+, your settings may have been changed and your email address might have been dropped. To see if you are a "no-reply blogger" and to fix it if you are - so I can send a reply to your comments to your inbox - you can go to this tutorial at morefromyourblog.com and fix it.
