Blog Birthday, Day 2 - A Slice of My Life

Welcome to Day Two of my Blog Birthday! On Monday, May 12th, the Oak Hill Homestead blog will be eight years old. To celebrate, I'm running a week-long series of "eights".

Today I'm sharing eight of my favorite blog photos from the past eight years. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

This was taken during the 2012 summer Olympics;
Starbuck seemed to be competing in the balance beam event.

Hope and her sister Dream were my two original goats, bought as weanlings.
I love this picture with Hope's eyes all scrunched up as I scratch the top of her head. Bliss.

Susie's and Carter's pups. The cat loved hanging around with the puppies
and photobombed every picture we took of them.

I've seen several polyphemus moths and have taken countless pictures of them.
You can see more here and here.

Granddaughter and I spend the summers exploring nature.

Ella, touched by the beautiful light of a sunny winter day.

Which one is your favorite?

This post has been shared at some of my favorite blog hops.

My hope is to inspire you, and to encourage your homesteading plans and your dreams of a
simple, self-reliant, God-dependent life. You can follow me at:
