Friday Follow-Up

This week:

-- The holidays can be a hard time for anyone. If you are depressed or lonely, please call someone - a friend, clergy, or the Suicide Prevention Hotline (1-800-273-8255).

-- There weren't many homestead projects going on this week due to the holidays. We spent time with family, kept the feathered and fuzzy critters fed and warm, and enjoyed the downtime.

-- What went well this week? What didn't? Before you forget, write down what worked, what didn't, what you'd like to change, any brilliant ideas you had, things you need to buy before next Christmas, and where you put the decorations for storage so you'll remember next year.

-- This week's posts were: How to Make Pumpkin Pie Without Evaporated Milk and Last-Minute Gift Ideas, which included things to bake (pumpkin bread and gingerbread) and things to make for any occasion, not just for Christmas.

What's your favorite, last-minute, go-to gift?
