Friday Follow-Up

This week:

-- Surprise! More rain! The pond is full now, for the first time in several years. The holes in the lawn that the dogs have dug are still full of water; the ground is so saturated that there's nowhere for the water to go. But I'm not complaining - the thunder and lightning have been awesome, the pasture is full of tall grass so the horses are happy, and the fruit trees are full of baby fruit.

-- Did you know that there are share buttons at the bottom of each post? Just click on the button you want to use to share a post - it's really easy. They're right under the link to comments. Here's a screenshot of where to look for them:

-- In honor of Oak Hill Homestead's 9th birthday, I've put together a week of giveaways to thank you, my readers. You can find them all on this page. I'd like to thank the giveaway sponsors for their generous prizes: Mountain Rose Herbs, Prairie Pin Pouch, Mary's Heirloom Seeds, Dog Fence DIY, and The Chicken Art Shop.

-- This week's posts were Celebrating my Blog's Birthday, and I'm a Survivor - Skin Cancer Awareness Month. (Don't take this lightly, folks, skin cancer is a serious business!)
