Friday Follow-Up

This week:

Our weather patterns changed to fall and we had a whole day of rain and lots of overnight thunderstorms. We needed the rain, and I'm really loving the cooler temperatures that came with it; I just wish there were a few more of those cooler days.

The entire month of September and part of October are always extremely busy with my part-time job, so I'm stuck inside doing a lot of computer work, yet blessed to be able to work at home.

I cleaned the chicken coop before moving the chicks, and hubby cut down a branch from the oak tree next to the coop; the branch rested on the roof of the coop.

The leaves are beginning to change color, as much as they do in Oklahoma - which is nothing like living up north. In fall I miss living in New England and Michigan, but in winter I'm thankful to be in Oklahoma!

My Friday Find:

How to Clip a Chicken's Wings, from Grace Garden and Homestead. My new chicks will be confined to the coop, but it never hurts to know how to do this in case you need it.
