Today is the day!
The Oak Hill Homestead blog is ten years old!
To celebrate this milestone, hubby and I stopped at a local bakery yesterday and bought two cupcakes. We probably could have shared one; they were all of four inches tall and I couldn't even finish mine. It's not what we normally eat, but they were a delicious, fun treat.
I wish I could have shared a cupcake with each of you, though. "No woman is an island," as the saying goes. (Well, that's sort of what it says.)
So I've created a Facebook community for us all. I know not everyone has a Facebook account, but if you do, you're welcome to join the OHH Homesteading Community group. Let's chat about our gardens, our livestock and our goals.
I also know that we're all busy homesteaders and homemakers, with gardens to plant and chores to do. But when you have a few moments, feel free to drop in and join the conversation. Maybe you'll know the answer to someone's question and can help them out. I hope I'll see you there.
