Simple Homestead blog hop #101

Welcome to the Simple Homestead blog hop!

We are so glad that you have stopped by for a visit! We encourage you to look through some of the great posts shared by our readers and then take the time to read those that interest you. If you are adding to our list, thank you for sharing your homesteading, homemaking, and homeschooling posts with us. It’s so much fun to read your hints, tips, and happenings. We hope you have fun exploring all the great ideas everyone has shared with us.

This Week

We've had two mild winters in a row and the ticks and mosquitoes are already terrible. I'm sure the worm load for our livestock is high too. This week I shared how I worm my goats with an herbal wormer made into dosage balls.

We picked up the bees last week! Then came the interesting part: I had to get them from their cage into their new hive. I have to admit that I was a wee bit nervous - maybe a little more than a wee bit.
