Simple Homestead blog hop #112

Welcome to the Simple Homestead blog hop!

We're so glad you've stopped by for a visit! Every week we get together here for another hop and I hope you'll join us. The Hop runs from Thursday morning to Sunday evening. Have fun exploring all the great ideas that have been shared, and add your homesteading, homemaking and homeschooling posts with us if you're a blogger. I'm sure you'll be blessed and inspired by all these great ideas!

This Week

How much water does your garden need?

When summer truly hits I've struggled to keep the garden watered in the past. Now I have a routine that works pretty well for me. Here's how much water your garden needs, the best way to water, and a few tools that make the chore easier for me in Watering the Summer Garden.

Goats are amusing creatures and each one has its own personality and quirks. Get to know your goats well so you'll know when they aren't acting "normal" - normal for them, that is. After fifteen years of goat-keeping I know to investigate when my goats are acting a bit "off": Goats, What Isn't Normal?
