Wild Herbs

I'd always thought this was morning glory or field bindweed, but this year I realized that it is Evening Primrose. I believe the variety is "showy evening primrose".
It can be invasive, and this year we have a LOT more of these flowers
than we have had in years past.

I'd thought this was the wildflower called "butter'n'eggs", but
this year I realized that it is "plains wild indigo".
(The ferny leaves are yarrow, growing up through the indigo.)
