What is the difference between goals and projects?

The saying goes that "goals are dreams with a deadline". Likewise, projects are what you DO to achieve a goal. Break down your goals into do-able parts, and there are your projects.

I have a long, long list of projects to be done around the homestead. They don't always belong to a goal though, they are just things that need to be done. Perhaps I should prioritize some of them and make a goal to "finish ten projects" by a certain date.

What are you up to today? I'm processing more pumpkin puree and baking a loaf of pumpkin bread. The oven warmed the kitchen up nicely. The wind is blowing fiercely outside and tomorrow we have a possibility of SNOW.

  1. I really have enjoyed your recent posts on "do something" and setting goals. One of my favorite topics! I have much room improvement in this area but I just love to read about it.
