Friday Follow-Up

This week...

-- The garden is producing tomatoes at an alarming rate! I've picked all the red ones but there are many more to come. Made salsa, canned tomatoes, and dehydrated the skins to make tomato powder.

-- The apples are ready to harvest, so I've been busy picking those and deciding what to do with them. Only one of our trees produced apples this year due to a late spring frost, but it produced heavily. All the peels and cores will go in the freezer so I can make apple peel jelly and attempt to make apple cider vinegar.

-- We spent a long three days at the county fair, but came home with the Grand Champion Dairy Goat - one of our six-month-old doe kids, Lily!

-- Put the senior buck in with the milkers for February kids.
