Follow-Up Friday

This week:

-- We had a small herd of whitetails at the farm pond yesterday morning. The horses were fascinated watching them jump up the bank and disappear over the top in a flash of white.

-- I found a fresh rabbit skeleton right outside the front door one morning this week. I've always wondered if the cats or the dogs catch and kill the rabbits, but now I know for sure: with the pyrenees ill and not moving around, it's obviously the cats.

-- Pleurisy root and echinacea purpuria began blooming this week. I love the progression of wildflowers through spring and early summer: a riot of constant color.

  1. Hey Kathi,

I just wanted to write you a note and say that I'm praying you and your husband are feeling better, according to His Will, and your great pyrenees too... it's so awful to be sick, and I'm so sorry you've caught ill.

    May Jesus bless.
    In Christ,
