Found 'Em!

Or rather, they came out of hiding.

One week old

Do you remember the three kittens born near the bricks in June? They were 3 days old when granddaughter came, and we planned to play with them lots so they would be friendly. Well, after a few days it rained, and their mama moved them to a drier place, and we hadn't seen them since. We were both sad about that.

But today, two of them were near the backyard gate with their mama. Sadly, one is missing; a boy and a girl are left.

All the work we put in on them those first few days paid off though. We were able to pick them up and hold them. I'm so thankful for that.

At about four weeks old, they are still tottering around. They're so cute at that age.

I had to wash out their eyes with warm water and a cloth. Kittens are prone to eye infections. I've run out of the tri-optic cream and need to get more.
