Friday Follow-Up

This week:

-- The farrier came to trim the horses' hooves. He had a bad headache when he arrived, and I offered him the peppermint essential oil. It took care of his headache in no time, and he said he will be buying a bottle. I've converted a lot of people; there should be fewer headaches in the world now.

-- The chickens are molting and are a sorry-looking mess. It's a good thing I hadn't planned to take them to the fair.

-- Tomorrow the 2013 county fair will be history. It's a lot of work, a lot of fun, and I'm always so glad when it's over. My six photos won 4 first and 2 second places; this photo of Charlotte the spider won a blue ribbon.

  1. Congrats on your photo wins - that's awesome! I didn't know that about peppermint oil and headaches. I'll have to get some so I can give it a try next time I get a headache.

  2. Congratulations! Your photography does always seem top notch - its good to see it's being recognized!

    1. Thank you for the compliment, Sassss. :-)
