Friday Follow-Up

This week:

Samson, the barred rock roo, giving me the evil eye.

-- We're back in the deep freeze. We were spared the snow that so much of the country suffered, but by Oklahoma standards it was pretty brutal. Wind chills were below zero, and hubby and I were reminded why we left Michigan almost ten years ago.

-- The two smallest doe kids, Daisy and Dragonfly, went to the vet to be disbudded, and are doing well.

-- More truck troubles. I'm grounded for awhile, but it's not a hardship; I enjoy being home.

-- Oak Hill Homestead's facebook page reached and passed a milestone: over 500 Likes.

-- We'll be celebrating my birthday this weekend with our son and future daughter-in-law. I always wish that more of our children and their families lived close to us, but I'm very thankful that one stayed here.
