Friday Follow-Up

This week:

-- I'm enjoying the "new" bird feeder hubby put up in the front yard for me. We brought it with us when we moved here but never set it up. I mentioned how much I like watching the cardinals in the yard in the winter, so hubby found a pole and put it up in front of the kitchen window. It took a full two weeks for the first cardinal to figure it out. More are now using it, while others are still content to eat the seeds scattered on the ground.

-- Have you checked out my Goat Shed Pinterest board? I pin goat-related information for easy reference. If you're on Pinterest I hope you'll take a look and follow me if you like what you see. Thank you!

-- This week's posts were a delicious Ham and Bean Soup in my Month of Soups series, and Recordkeeping on the Homestead, Part Two.

-- What I found: How to Make Potato Flakes from Scratch. Heather at the Homesteading Hippy has a great tutorial on making your own dehydrated mashed potato flakes.

Have a great weekend, everyone!
