Simple Homestead blog hop #102

Welcome to the Simple Homestead blog hop!

We are so glad that you have stopped by for a visit! We encourage you to look through some of the great posts shared by our readers and then take the time to read those that interest you. If you are adding to our list, thank you for sharing your homesteading, homemaking, and homeschooling posts with us. It’s so much fun to read your hints, tips, and happenings. We hope you have fun exploring all the great ideas everyone has shared with us.

This Week

What a busy week! My chicks from Privett Hatchery arrived, so our mudroom now contains the chicks as well as 15 week-old Muscovy ducklings, and there are 12 more month-old Muscovies in a pen inside the chicken coop. When I found my oldest duck hen laying eggs this week I removed them; I just need a break from ducklings. They're adorable and cute and sweet, but I'm a bit overwhelmed.

When life gets this overwhelming I'm thankful that I have a quiet place where I can retreat and get away from the hustle-bustle even for a short time. I hope you have such a place too.
