The fresh air and sunshine are good for you too, and all that bending and stretching is great exercise. (One of my very first magazine articles was about hanging laundry, published in Country Almanac. It's still one of my favorite pieces.)

Now, you'll need something to hold your clothespins while you're hanging your clothes. Something that hangs on the clothesline and is easy to reach inside to pull out a pin. Julie Pruett makes these lovely Prairie Pin Pouches from a variety of fabrics, and I love mine. It works just the way my mother's did; I'd looked for one like Mom's for a long time without success, until I found Julie's.
I reviewed the Prairie Pin Pouch several years ago; you can read my thoughts here.

Julie has several chicken fabrics available this year.
