Simple Homestead blog hop #165

Welcome to the Simple Homestead blog hop!

Hi there! I'm always glad to see you when we get together for another linky party. Our Simple Homestead blog hop runs from Thursday morning to Sunday evening.

I hope you have fun exploring all the great ideas that are shared each week. Add your homesteading, homemaking and homeschooling posts to the party if you're a blogger (please see our simple rules below). I'm sure you'll be blessed and inspired by all the great posts and ideas.

Giveaway!

This week I reviewed Prepper's Livestock Handbook, a new book from Ulysses Press. It's written by Leigh Tate who blogs at 5 Acres and a Dream. Don't let the title put you off, this book is written for both homesteaders and preppers who are homesteading. You'll learn what you need to do to prepare for a new species of livestock as well as be able to compare breeds and types so you'll know exactly what you need/want. This is the kind of information I was looking for when we first moved to Oak Hill, so I know you'll find it valuable! I'm giving away a paperback copy to one of our readers, so go read my review and enter to win.
