Silver Sunday

Often as we drive through the countryside we'll round a curve or top a hill and there in the distance is a green hill covered with black dots of cattle, and this comes to my mind: "and the cattle on a thousand hills are mine." If the Lord owns the cattle in the fields, the animals in the forest, and if He knows every bird and insect, how could He not hold me in the palm of His Hand?

This week I am thankful to the Lord, my God, for:

- visiting our children and grandchildren in another state
- trusted neighbors who do our chores while we're gone
- our LGD did NOT get out while we were gone this time
- rain to water the garden
- plums ripening on the trees

Silver Sunday

...for every animal of the forest is mine,
and the cattle on a thousand hills.
I know every bird in the mountains,
and the insects in the fields are mine.
