Guest Post and Sponsored Post Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in Oak Hill Homestead. My mission is to inspire and encourage my readers to follow their dreams of living simply and becoming more self-sufficient.

Our posts teach, encourage and inspire through tutorials, tips, and by example. If your product, service or idea will help me do that, let's talk about it.

Here's what you need to know.

All links within the guest post will be no-follow links with the exception of one do-follow link to your personal website in the author's box below the article.

If you submit an article with do-follow links they will be changed to no-follow. No affiliate links are allowed.

If you represent a company or organization, your article is not a guest post but is considered a sponsored post instead. Sponsored posts are subject to a sponsor fee.

I retain the right to make limited grammatical and punctuation changes to your article or post. If extensive changes are needed the post will be returned to you.

You must include high-quality images or photos to accompany your article/post. Images or photos must be of your own creation or work; stock photos are not accepted, and I will not provide images for your post. You will have to sign a waiver for the use of your photos or images.

Posts must be exclusive to Oak Hill Homestead. You may not post the article on other websites, blogs, etc. Your post must pass Copyscape. You may link to the post on social media, etc, and reference it as your own work.

You may reply to any comments on your article.

Please note: I do not accept unsolicited guest posts. Guest post pitches must be on a topic within the scope and niche of my website. If you wish to pitch an idea or subject you may use this handy-dandy form to contact me. If I am interested I will respond with my media kit with details and pricing information.

Google requires that paid links must be no-follow links - there will be no exceptions.
